Disappointing Consignment/Purchase Process I recently contacted Camping World through its website to explore either selling or consigning our nearly new 2025 Westfalia WAVE Pop Top. I completed the requested information online and selected an appointment at the Hillsboro location so that Camping World could inspect the RV and discuss both options with us. Unfortunately, what I expected to be a relatively straightforward evaluation became an unnecessarily frustrating process involving Camping World's centralized National Buying Team. Before an appointment would even be confirmed, I was contacted by a national acquisition representative requesting additional information. To make things easier, I provided a link to our detailed RV Trader advertisement, which already contained extensive information about the RV, including mileage, equipment, condition, ownership status, clean title and the fact that there is no lien. I then asked three straightforward questions: What would Camping World potentially pay outright? What did they believe the RV could realistically retail for? And under a consignment arrangement, what could we actually expect to net after Camping World's costs? I initi

We have been in the RV World since 1999. Have Spoken with lots of sales people and have had several RV’s. We decided to get another Travel Trailer. We live in a big 5th Wheel right now, just needed something smaller to travel part time. Been looking all over for a while. We Met David Karner at Hillsboro Camping World in Hillsboro about a Month ago and decided we liked him and wanted to buy from him. He returns calls and msgs when others don’t. Very knowledgeable and helpful. It’s always a long process but everyone was very pleasant. Paul in Finance was wonderful also.. We are repeat buyers with Camping World.

Anthony was excellent from start to finish. Even went the extra step of helping me connect the rear camera. I was shorted one propane tank fill up and he helped make it right. The service department was great. They did an amazing walk thru and explained all the equipment in detail. Had a list of items they needed to warranty and setup an appointment for the repairs.

Camping World - Hillsboro offers RV rentals and camper trailers. The staff there is very kind and friendly, always ready to help. They don't make you feel like you need to buy anything right away; there's no pressure at all. You can just look around and see all the different types of RVs and trailers they offer for your next camping experience.

I took my trailer here on consignment and my experience has been far from good. I was told my trailer would be washed and detailed before it was put out for sale but it was never washed. They posted pictures of my trailers with green under the window running down the trailer. They left another companies advertising plates on the trailer. I noticed in the pictures one of my doors was hanging off track sideways and it wasn’t dropped off like that. I emailed and called several times with no response on fixing my pictures and the door. The 13k markup on the trailer was absolutely Insane and only brought in 2 inquires in 2 months. This was 10k more than I even bought the trailer for. When I asked for it to be lowered they just wanted more money out of my pocket in order to lower it. How about lower the margin you are making off a consignment trailer. I had a fit and explained all the issues I have had with this contract so they finally lowered it on their own. I asked when my 90 contract was up and was provided a date that was a week later than it should have been. I asked to see my contract reflecting that date she provided me then the date changed. Wanted to pick up my trailer and j
